CAREER REVIEW & COLLEGE SELECTION
With today’s competitive and complex landscape for university admissions, having a clear strategy for career development, including early decision options and a balanced and curated school list, can make a crucial difference. Our approach to achieving admissions in a top-tier college or business school is comprehensive and “top down" to strategically position your candidacy.
In the assessment and planning phase we align your strengths with the targeted schools’ selection criteria, isolate your weaknesses, and propose a very specific, customized action plan to develop and optimize your candidacy. ESSAY REVIEWS & EDITING
College & MBA application essays are much more than just another step in the application process. College essays are a critical part that must catch the attention of admissions officers and illuminate students’ intellect, personality, career aspirations and leadership potential. The essay is your chance to shine and differentiate yourself from the crowd and market your personal brand and what you are about. Your essays need to “leap out from the pack” during the admissions process and the admissions committee needs to clearly see (1) what your career goals are (2) how their program will help you achieve these goals, and (3) how the school will greatly benefit by admitting you as a student. Consequently, we help you construct impactful, creative, clear and concise essays that capture your unique story and best convey your skills, experiences, values and goals.
Our experienced Counselors will guide students in writing compelling essays that make admissions officers take notice and grab their attention. Your Counselor will: (1) brainstorm and discuss essay topics for each targeted school, including highlighting the structure, strengths and culture of the particular program (2) draw out compelling angles that highlight your unique personality, experiences and achievements (3) guide you through the writing process and help with writer’s block (4) check spelling, grammar and fine tune with candid and specific feedback to drafts (5) provide motivation and set deadlines.

INTERVIEW PREPARATION
Admissions interviews are extremely important – they give the college an opportunity to see what your personality is like, where your passions lie, and most importantly, how you seem to fit – or don’t fit – the ideal mold of a student at a given college or university.
Our private tutorials are focused specifically on preparing you for an Admissions Interview and include a 30 minute mock interview and a 30 minute post-interview coaching session on how to improve your interview content and delivery. The mock interviews are conducted by our founders who are experienced in admissions interviews for top tier graduate schools as well as for jobs in top tier Corporates, Investment Banks & Consulting Firms. Interview preparation prepares you for every interview format and every type of interviewer (e.g. admissions officer, student or alumnus).
After the interview, we go over point-by-point what the student did very well and areas for improvement. We provide detailed feedback including specific ideas and strategies about how they can better articulate their background, goals, and passions for college or graduate school and answer questions in a confident, clear and concise manner.
FINANCIAL PLANNING / STUDENT AID APPLICATIONS
Navigating the complex maze of options and criteria for student and financial aid, academic and athletic scholarships and student loans (in USA specially) can be very confusing and stressful. We can help identify the right financial aid, scholarships and student loans that the student can most likely qualify for, including assisting with compiling the required materials for a successful application.
